Talent ID Retreat

Join Grand Valley State Head Men’s Golf Coach and players at GVSU Men’s Golf Talent ID Retreat. All campers will get an insight into what being a collegiate golfer entails as well as learning more about what coaches are looking for during the recruiting process.

There will be a 36-hole tournament amongst campers with live scoring, 2 collegiate style coaching/practice sessions, and a Q&A session. Food and drinks will be provided. Lodging will be provided for the overnight campers in campus dorms.

Schedule of Events

Day 1

• 10:00 AM - Registration & Introductions
• 10:15 AM - College style short game instruction/practice
• 12:15 PM - Lunch
• 12:50 PM - Round 1 tee times begin
• 6:00 PM - Dinner
• 6:30 PM - All things college golf open discussion
• 7:30 PM - Camp concludes for the day

Day 2

• 8:30 AM - Breakfast
• 9:00 AM - Long game practice/instruction (tournament preparation focus)
• 11:15 AM - Lunch
• 12:00 PM - Round 2 tee times begin
• Camp concludes after round (approx. 5PM)

Instruction, Practice Balls, Green Fees, Trackman Analysis, Lodging & Transport (For overnight campers), Meals, Snacks, and Drinks.
